Workshop mentoring

Do you have a copy of the DIY Food and Mood Workshop pack or Guide for Workshop Leaders?

Would you like some friendly telephone advice on any aspect of setting up, facilitating or reflecting on a Food and Mood workshop?

Yes?  Then this service is for you!

Alternatively you may like to try our email Ask a Question service.

About the service

Food and Mood workshop mentoring can be a one-off telephone conversation or more than one session can be arranged.  We can discuss any aspect(s) of running a workshop that you need to talk about.  Possible topics of conversation include:

  • practicalities of setting up and marketing a workshop
  • structure and planning of a workshop
  • dealing with nerves or ‘difficult customers’
  • funding and money matters
  • reflecting on how a workshop went and planning for future workshops

This service is delivered by Amanda Geary, founder of the Food and Mood Community Interest Company. Amanda’s advice will be based on her ten years professional experience of private consultations as a nutritional therapist working with adults and children, in clinics and community projects, and facilitating dozens of Food and Mood workshops around the UK plus other teaching experience in adult education, schools and colleges.

If Amanda can’t answer any queries during your call she will either signpost you to other sources of information/support or do some research and get back to you with what you need. The phonecall can be arranged for a mutually convenient time between 10am-7pm local UK time.

The cost for this service is £15 for each 20 minutes, or part thereof, payable in advance using PayPal or by cheque. The client pays for the phone call.
